This activity will focus in supporting, with CCAFS research, regional processes that lead to effective CSA scaling, such as capacity strengthening, policy formulation and implementation at regional level, collaborative actions with regional and multilateral organizations, as well as technical support regarding global climate negotiations, among other regional processes where CCAFS knowledge can make a difference.
Specific actions in this activity include:
- Support the formulation and implementation of CSA strategy for Central America and Dominican Republic.
- Support the Central American Agricultural Council (CAC) for addressing food security challenges in a changing climate
- Technical support regarding global climate negotiations.
- Collaborative actions with key regional partners to inform both governments, private sector and research institutions that enable CSA scaling up and out.
