Background

The session will provide an opportunity for participants to question and discuss the estimates, and also share their views on the highest priority areas for investment. How far is global investment in innovation today from where we need to be to support a transformation in the agricultural system to meet the SDGs and climate goals? This session will provide the latest global, regional and country estimates of the ‘investment gap, by experts from the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI)’ and the Commission on Sustainable Agriculture Intensification (CoSAI).
