CCAFS Event on Agriculture and food security in response to the latest IPCC report - Acclimatise Network
CGIAR Climate's insight:
One of headline messages coming out of the recent Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report was that without action, climate change is set to have significantimpacts on the world’s ability to feed itself. In light of this I was particularly interested to attend an event organised by the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS), the aim of which was to identify actions the world must take to help farmers adapt to climate change and help deliver a more food-secure and prosperous world.
