This three day planned workshop will identify the institutional and operational needs, gaps and capacities for climate services in the agriculture, food security, health and disaster risk reduction sectors in Tanzania.

This workshop is carried out as part of the Climate Services for Action programme, a multi-agency programme led by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), working to implement the Global Framework for Climate Services (GFCS) in Tanzania and Malawi. The participants will be representatives from both the producer and user communities from the target sectors and target districts.

CCAFS is one of the key partners in this project, working as one of six project consortium members along with WMO, the Center for International Climate and Environmental Research in Oslo, the International Federation of the Red Cross, the World Health Organization, and the World Food Programme, and serving on the project steering committee to guide project activities and implementation in Tanzania and Malawi between 2014-2016.

Check out a report back from the workshop, including photos and videos.
