Two CCAFS researchers named among top 1% highly cited researchers in the world

The CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) is proud to have Bruce Campbell and Philip Thornton recognized as part of the 2020 Clarivate™ Highly Cited Researchers list. 

The list includes scientists who have shown wide impact through the publication of multiple papers that have been frequently cited by their peers over the last decade. These papers rank in the top 1% by citations for a field or fields and publication year in the Web of Science™.

The 2020 list includes approximately 6,400 researchers; about 3,900 in 21 areas of science, and approximately 2500 as exceptional across several fields. 

The list recognized the following two CCAFS scientists for their influence and performance in the Cross-Field category:
