Workshop on Evidence Gathering for the Climate Change and Social Learning community
Under the lead of the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), the Climate Change and Social Learning community is now taking measures to collect, evaluate and discuss real-life social learning case studies.
The Climate Change and Social Learning initiative (CCSL) has two years of engagement under its belt and a number of publications and dialogues that have contributed to a wealth of information and thinking on social learning. We want to turn this knowledge into more robust evidence so that institutions who are delivering on ambitious development targets will feel able to use and fund social learning methodologies with confidence. We are engaging with potential partners to join us to help monitor, track and document where social learning works best.
In the line of this, the CCSL community is now engaging in a 2-day workshop, being held 16-17 June in London, presenting and discussingsocial learning case studies and the way forward for the community. Participants are all carrying out projects that in some way could be linked back to the key premises of what social learning is all about. Read the critera we set up for participants' social learning projects.

The program agenda is available on the CCSL Community Wikispace, together with other relevant documents.
We will be covering the workshop live on Twitter using #CCSL during 16-17 June.
