Dansira Dembélé
Dansira Dembele is a Malian journalist and a communication specialist. During her six years of experience she has developed a passion for climate and environmental issues. She has previously worked as a communications officer in a BRACED project led by International Relief and Development. She was responsible for designing printed press and radio items for rural communities, with content focusing on climate change realities and climate-smart agriculture practices aimed at helping small farmers gain information related to their livelihoods. Dansira was a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow, an American initiative for young African leaders. She studied Civic Leadership at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana (USA). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Academic English and studied Communications respectively at University Abdel Hamid Ibn Badis (Algeria) and at the Institut Superieur des Sciences de l’Information et de la Communication (Senegal).
