COP21 side-event and launch of the "4 Per 1000 Initiative"

The “4 Per 1000 Initiative: Soils for Food Security and Climate” aims to ensure that agriculture plays its part in combating climate change. It consists of a voluntary action plan under the Lima-Paris Action Agenda (LPAA) and is backed up by an ambitious research programme.

The official launch of the initiative will take place at COP 21 in Paris December 1, with the signing of a joint declaration between all stakeholders.

For more information, please visit the 4 Per 1000 Initiative page (UNFCCC Newsroom).

To register for the event, please visit the registration page (French).

Since space is limited, you will not be registered unless you receive an email confirming your registration, which will be sent as of 21 November.

Access to the "blue zone" at COP21 will only be granted members of organisations which are accredited by the United Nation Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). When registering, please indicate whether your organisation is already accredited (accréditée) or not.
