Southeast Asia is home to some of the world’s most significant natural and cultural diversity. However, with much of the population and infrastructure located in coastal and river deltas, hundreds of millions of people are at great risk from the impacts of climate change, particularly sea level rise, and climate AND weather variability and greenhouse gas emissions. This could be exacerbated by the region’s rapid economic growth which is expected to more than double by 2030.
