Second Conference on Climate Change and Development in Africa (CCDA-II)
The second Conference on Climate Change and Development in Africa (CCDA-II) will take place at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 19-20 October, 2012. The theme for the conference is Advancing Knowledge, Policy and Practice in Climate Change and Development. CCDA-II seeks to emphasize and advocate the urgency and need to pursue climate resilient and climate-proof development in the continent through better-informed policies and practices.

CCDA-II presents a great opportunity for CCAFS to raise its visibility in Africa and globally. This will also be an ideal platform to highlight the need for including agriculture in regional and international climate change policy discussions. CCAFS East Africa and ILRI Addis, will have an exhibition booth to share research and policy information relating to climate change, agriculture and food security.
