The Agricultural Model Intercomparison and Improvement Project Meeting

Key scientists from Africa and policy makers will visit CCAFS climate-smart villages in Eastern Kenya. They will hold discussions on adaptation packages for the region.

This meeting will focus on  “Adapting East African smallholder systems to climate change and variability through a stakeholder driven, multi-modeling integrated assessment approach” .

On 3rd February, participants will have a field visit  to  Wote climate-smart villages (CSVs) in Makueni County (Eastern Kenya)  where they will interact with key stakeholders including county policy makers to discuss adaptation packages for the region.
