We are pleased to invite you or a senior appointee to a discussion on environmental climate compatible agriculture and the science of improved farming practices.
We will explore how modernizing the farming practices impacts both environmental and social aspects for smallholder farmers: What does responsible up-scaling of productive farming look like in the context of poor rural communities and a nation set to multiply its population? Results of a four-year long series of scientific trials looking into the full impact of transforming farm practices from low-input systems to using modernized inputs and knowledge: Productivity, environmental impacts and profitability for the farmers.
Speakers:
- Lindiwe Majele Sibanda, CEO and Head of Mission, Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources Policy Analysis Network (FANRPAN)
- Frank Rijsberman, CEO of CGIAR Consortium
- Joachim Lammel, VP Yara
