CCAFS Southeast Asia Annual Meeting | VTC16 & more
The news report talks about the highlights of the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security Southeast Asia (CCAFS SEA) Annual Meeting, particularly the climate-related risk mapping and adaptation planning (CS-MAP) in the Mekong River Delta to prevent salinity intrusion. This methodology, developed by CCAFS SEA and the Vietnam’s Department of Crop Production, saved more than 600,000 hectares of rice in the Mekong River Delta from salinity intrusion due to climate change.
