The CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) Program in West Africa is organising a High Level Policy Science session to discuss the needed changes in agriculture with Ministries, farmers organizations, scientists and non-governmental organisations. Speakers will include delegates from Comité permanent Inter-Etats de Lutte contre la Sécheresse dans le Sahel (CILSS), West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL), Le Réseau des organisations paysannes et de producteurs de l’Afrique de l’Ouest (ROPPA), The West and Central African Council for Agricultural Research and Development (CORAF/WECARD), The Sahel Institute (INSAH), and other institutions.
Delegates from the Burkina Faso Ministry of Research, Ministry of Agriculture, Minister of Livestock, Minister of Environment, CONEDD, Permanent Secretary SP-CPSA, Director INERA, Executive Secretary, Conférence Nationale de Sensibilisation à l'Agriculture (CNSA) will also join.
