Scale for Resilience forms part of UNFCCC Race to Resilience and contributes to its overall goal of making four billion people more climate-resilient by 2030.

Building climate resilience in rural communities is crucial to ensure diverse and healthy food on our plates. Climate variability is exacerbating root causes of inequality and poverty. Therefore, we need to be ambitious!

The CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS), the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIATYAPU Solutions and GAWA Capital formed Scale for Resilience to drive innovation in food systems value chains and leverage digital solutions to ultimately unlock the capital needed for Nature-Based Solutions to the climate crisis on a scale that meets the challenge.

We work together with investors and microfinance institutions to create science-backed financial innovation for local climate adaptation.
