Of 162 INDCs submitted as of April 28, 2016, 119 included agricultural mitigation but only 9 estimated sector-specific emissions reductions. In this side event, participants will explore “fair and ambitious” country emissions targets for agriculture and learn how countries calculated sub-sectoral mitigation estimates that safeguard food security.
