Rhys Bucknall-Williams
Rhys coordinates CCAFS' global communications efforts, developing and delivering on strategies that maximize the uptake and impact of its research.
He has over a decade of experience leading communications at prestigious think tanks and research groups. These include the European Centre for Development Policy Management, the Institute for Government and IDEAS, a Gates Foundation funded maternal and newborn health project based at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
These roles built on his experience as a campaigns manager for a member of parliament and government minister in the 2010-2015 UK coalition government.
Before joining CCAFS, Rhys was an Account Director at Project Associates, a Mayfair-based strategic communications consultancy, where he worked across its government, corporate and private client practices.
Rhys has a BSc in Economics from Cardiff University and an MSc in Global Politics from Birkbeck, University of London.
