Gender Equality in Climate Smart Agriculture: Indicators and measuring impact

In the second of a two-part webinar series (see part 1), leading researchers from the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS), the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the International Crops Research Institute (ICRISAT), and the Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center (CATIE), will present their latest findings, recently published in a special issue of Climatic Change titled "Gender Equality in Climate Smart Agriculture: Framework, Approaches and Technologies." 
 
Their work examines the potential of climate-smart agriculture (CSA) to empower women and promote gender equality, with articles exploring a range of topics, from the issues and gaps in achieving gender equality in CSA to using CSA strategies to improve food insecurity and community resilience.
