SBSTA Bonn Climate Meeting
The 38th sessions of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) and the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) will take place between 3-14 June, in Bonn, Germany. CCAFS will be represented via a Booth and a Side event on 4 June, 18:30 - 20:00 in Room: RAIL (Minitstry of Transport), close to the Maritime Hotel.
The 38th sessions of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) and the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) will take place between 3-14 June, in Bonn, Germany. CCAFS will be represented via a Booth and a Side event on 4 June, 18:30 - 20:00 in Room: RAIL (MoT), close to the Maritime Hotel.
The CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) will organise both an exhibit booth to display the most recent research outputs, and coordinate the side event "Agriculture and mitigation: Towards low emissions development".
Panelists will discuss how to support mitigation in the agricultural sector, drawing on recent policy developments at the national level, mitigation priorities that also address adaptation, and emerging tools for the quantification of GHGs and prioritization of mitigation options.
After the session, we welcome participants to join us for a cocktail reception.
