Wiebe Smit
Wiebe Smit is the Program Management Officer for the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) Program Management Unit, where he supports the CCAFS Independent Steering Committee and Core Team, and manages the office administration and finance at the Wageningen University and Research campus.
Prior to joining CCAFS, Wiebe worked as a Junior Policy Officer at the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), where he was embedded in the WOTRO department. At this department, Wiebe was primarily involved in the funding processes of research directed towards food security within the global development context. He has an MSc in International Development Studies from Wageningen University and Research with a specialization in Sociology of Development and Change.
