Breakfast Briefing on Kenya’s Participation in COP 20 /CMP 10
Preparatory meeting to identify key thematic areas for a side event by CCAFS East Africa and the Kenyan Ministry of Environment, Water and Natural Resources for the upcoming COP 20 /CMP 10 in Lima, Peru.
At the recently concluded UN Climate Conference in Bonn, Germany, the Kenyan delegation and CCAFS discussed the progress made in the prioritization and implementation of the Agriculture Priority Actions in the National Climate Change Action Plan (NCCAP2013 - 2017). It was then proposed that a joint side event be organized during COP 20 /CMP 10 in Lima, Peru.
Consequently, the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS), East Africa and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Natural Resources are co-hosting a breakfast meeting to identify key thematic areas for the proposed side event and the related preparations.
