Is our chocolate melting away?: Presentation at Agri-chains & Sustainable Development - Montpellier, France

Using the latest climate impact modeling technology and through a collaborative partnership with WCF, CIAT will present update and refined maps of the potential zones of impact of climate change on cocoa. The presentation will explain how through the use of technology and in partnership with national regulators in Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana, CIAT has been able to update and ground-truth data elements to arrive at more precise and predictable set of outcomes for the impacts. The presentation will demonstrate how multi-stakeholder processes can yield powerful tools for policy makes, industry and farmers.
