Interactive Climate, Agriculture, and Socio-Economic maps from IFPRI and StatPlanet

Can the world's farmers meet the growing demand for food as an uncertain climate future adds to food security challenges from a growing population with higher incomes? The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) partnered with StatPlanet to offer Food Security CASE Maps: interactive Climate, Agriculture, and Socio-Economic maps.

These maps underlie the analysis in IFPRI’s 2010 report: Food Security, Farming, and Climate Change to 2050. (Nelson GC, Rosegrant MW, et al. 2010. Food Security, Farming, and Climate Change to 2050: Scenarios, Results Policy Options. Washington DC: International Food Policy Research Institute.)
