Experts have warned of a likely food crisis in the country occasioned by climate change.

CGIAR Climate's insight:
The government, according to a report released by the International Food Policy Research Institute and the Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in Eastern and Central Africa, has been fully briefed on the need to prepare farmers to grow alternative crops as the climate change would affect maize and wheat production.
