Rachel Kyte, vice president for sustainable development at the World Bank, recently visited a Climate-Smart Village in Nyando, Western Kenya. The CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) is working with farmers in these areas to test and implement a range of innovations to help farming communities become more resilient to climate change, and make their agriculture more sustainable.
