SESAME (Seminar on Water and Food Security in the Mediterranean) is a regional multi-stakeholders Think Tank platform, initiated jointly by the General Council of Agricultural Development, Morocco (CGDA) and the General Council of Food, Agriculture and Rural Territories, France (CGAEER), on issues related to food security, natural resources management and sustainable territorial development in the Mediterranean.

This platform is an opportunity for developing regional shared visions to support policy development and decision making and enable effective and sustainable management of water resources.

SESAME4 held on 27 April 2016 is devoted to meeting the challenge of food security, attenuation and adaptation to climate change in the Mediterranean and West Africa countries. It is part of the preparation process of COP22 in Marrakesh, Morocco.
