Kenyan dairy farmers are using biogas systems to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, explains John Recha, Participatory Action Research Specialist for CCAFS East Africa. This renewable energy source, which uses gas from waste, is an important factor in combatting climate change. The smallholder dairy farm in Kenya that is highlighted in the documentary benefited from the CCAFS Kenya Dairy Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Action (NAMA) Project.
