Tek Sapkota from the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) analyzed mitigations options for agriculture addressing demand, supply and food loss, and waste. As he found options which can reduce emissions without compromising food security, his country Nepal and CCAFS nominated him as one of the lead authors for the IPCC special report on climate change and land.
