The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA), in collaboration with the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) in Southeast Asia and the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR), conducted a workshop on 'Establishing Climate-Smart Villages (CSVs) in the ASEAN Region to Improve Food Security and Resiliency in Local Communities' 8–14 July 2019 at SEARCA, Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines. The roving seminar-workshop aimed to increase the participants’ knowledge and understanding of the CSV approach and its potential to significantly improve food security in local communities using the experiences of CSVs in Guinayangan, Quezon Province, Philippines.
