Major boost for climate change resilience in Africa - SciDev.Net Sub-Saharan Africa


A new US$10 million aims to increase Africa’s capacity to adapt to climate change.

CGIAR Climate's insight:
The World Meteorological Organization (WMO), UN agencies and humanitarian organisations launched the Climate Services Adaptation Programme in Africa at the 19th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Warsaw, Poland last month (21 November).
The CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) is a core partner in the program reaches smallholder farmers in the target countries of Tanzania and Malawi.
