Meet the Gender, Climate Change, Agriculture, and Food Security Grant Recipients
The CGIAR Climate program is proud to announce six female scientists from the three CCAFS target regions who have won the competitive grant on gender, climate change, agriculture, and food security out of 130 applicants from 12 different countries.
The grant recipients from Bangladesh, Nepal, Uganda, Tanzania, Senegal, and Burkina Faso will work on a diverse range of topics. Recipients’ research topic will add a gender dimension to microfinance as a risk management strategy; greenhouse gas emissions due to agricultural intensification; climate services among herders and fisherfolk, agriculture policy implementation; adaptive capacity of herders; and mitigating through land restoration.
