What would an international agreement on climate change do for food and agriculture?

Though agriculture is not mentioned in the new Paris climate agreement, COP21 opened the door for more adaptation and mitigation in the agriculture sector. However, it raises the question of where money for adaptation and mitigation strategies will come from.
According to a new CCAFS study, the article writes, "the 48 least developed countries will need $5 billion in funding annually to help adapt their farms and farmers to climate change while mitigating their emissions," which is much more than the commitments that the countries are promising.
