Online webinar on gender and climate-smart agriculture
On 5 February 2014, the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations will organise an online webinar on gender linked to climate-smart agriculture, featuring gender experts from CCAFS. There is still time to register!
The webinar will be featuring Patti Kristjanson and Nafisa Ferdous, gender researchers within the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS). Both will present on 5 February 11:00 - 12:30 CET (10-11:30 GMT) together with Miranda Morgan from The WorldFish Center. Dalia Mattioni from FAO will introduce the seminar topic.
The Programme however includes more than one online event. In total, this activity includes three webinars (90 minutes each) and online discussions on the linkages between gender, agriculture and climate change. The event is organized within the Community of Practice for Climate Change Mitigation in Agriculture of the MICCA Programme in collaboration with colleagues and partners. Enrolled participants will receive more details prior to the event, including invitations to the webinars.
