Side-event: Insights in REDD+ realities Politics, MRV and Benefit Sharing

The Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) will hold a side-event during the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), entitled "Insights in REDD+ realities: Politics, MRV and Benefit Sharing", on 16 May, 18:15 - 19:45. Room: WIND, Ministry of Environment.
CIFOR, together with partners, will examine the politics of benefit sharing and reference levels based on a global comparison of country experiences, among them Indonesia and Brazil. We will identify opportunities and obstacles in the REDD policy and MRV arena and provide lessons for constructive solutions.
