Lini Wollenberg, Leader of the Low Emissions Development Flagship at the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS), agrees with other experts that compiling soil measurement data and analysis tools is a good way of increasing farmer participation in climate-smart agriculture (CSA) soil management practices. Increasing access to tools that estimate soil carbon in the field enables farmers to monitor the impacts of switching to CSA practices.
