Sakshi Saini is a development communication practitioner and researcher with more than ten years of experience working in the area of environmental sustainability, climate change, water and sanitation. Within this domain, she has worked on the issues of citizen engagement, participatory learning and action, citizen centric development communication and participatory governance. 

Her professional trajectory in this sector encompasses various research oriented, consultancy, and advisory assignments, which involves clients from government departments, and various national and international non-governmental organizations. As part of these assignments she ideated, designed and evaluated the impact of premeditated and effective communication strategies, delivered through various communication channels. Her Ph.D. in the area of ‘communication, gender and climate change’ from University of Delhi, enables her to design efficacious project communication material ensuring validity and reliability of the content.
